Rocco Gehring, a passionate IT expert with many years of experience in the Schwarz Group, looks back on an exciting journey that began in 2001 with his studies in business informatics at Kaufland.
From an early age, he was fascinated by the intersection of technology and business. Over the years, he was able to steadily broaden his focus: from IT architecture at Kaufland Information Systems to international responsibility at Kaufland Bulgaria, and finally to strategic IT management for Kaufland Germany. In his various roles – whether in management in the area of ​​business consulting or in international IT leadership – his aim was always to create solutions that offer genuine added value.
Since the transition to the new era of Schwarz Digits IT KG, he has focused entirely on product engineering for the retail sector. Here, he combines his technical expertise with the goal of actively shaping the future of retail. In his private life, Rocco Gehring is married and a proud father of two children, who provide the necessary balance to his work life.
