Previously, he worked as Chief Technology Officer (CTO) at AstorMueller AG from September 2022, where he drove the digital transformation of the company.

With over 20 years of experience in the retail and consumer goods industry, Rainer Knapp is considered an international expert in the design of comprehensive digital brand worlds and the implementation of innovative omnichannel architectures.

His international career includes leadership positions as Global Director at companies such as Oberalp (mountain sports equipment with brands like Salewa and Dynafit), Willy Bogner, and Wolford (premium fashion). He also has many years of IT management experience in the media industry.
